Brett Kavanaugh Did What?

As we reported earlier this week, there has been a virtual firestorm on the Left surrounding President Donald J. Trump’s supreme court nominee, D.C. Circuit Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The so-called ‘leaders’ of the Women’s March even went so far as to claim that “thousands of women” would die if Kavanaugh is confirmed to the highest court in the land.

Wait ’till they see what Kavanaugh was doing last night, during the busiest, most important time of his legal career.

From the Daily Caller:

The judge has spent the last two days meeting with senior lawmakers on Capitol Hill, ahead of his confirmation hearings. In the coming weeks, he will meet with dozens of senators.

But amidst the chaos of the confirmation fight, Kavanaugh took a moment to do something incredibly human.

A passerby spotted the new Supreme Court nominee on her way home from work Wednesday night, and sent these pictures to The Daily Caller News Foundation. Kavanaugh was serving meals to the homeless outside Catholic Charities in downtown Washington, less than 48 hours after he was tapped to succeed Justice Anthony Kennedy.

According to his D.C. Circuit biography, the judge is a volunteer with the St. Maria’s Meals program, which serves hot dinners to the capital’s poor. During his acceptance remarks on Monday night, the judge mentioned that his Jesuit high school education taught him to be “a man for others.”

Not only did Kavanaugh keep his commitment to assist with the church charity, he did so during the most stressful and potentially draining part of his professional life.

It appears that Kavanaugh takes his commitments and his responsibility to take care of the less fortunate around him very seriously.

Combine that servant’s heart with his conservative legal record, and I think President Trump made an excellent choice for our next Supreme Court justice.

  1. People like them are always claiming that people are going to die if they don’t get their way. But so far all these predicted deaths have not occurred when they failed to get their way. How often are they going to yell wolf?

  2. The so-called ‘leaders’ of the Women’s March even went so far as to claim that “thousands of women” would die but they failed to mention how many female babies and future women would live. Males are expendable I’m guessing. The sky is falling and it’s all Kavanaugh’s fault. Many woman die and are damaged going to abortion mills like Planned Parenthood.
