Trump gives Russians the boot

President Trump expelled 60 Russian diplomats that the US considers spies and ordered the closure of Russia’s Seattle-based consulate. These expulsions mark the strongest move against Russia under President Trump. These orders come after the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury, England.

The former British spy and his daughter were targeted in a poisoning attack and many are blaming the Russians. Despite their tepid denials of any involvement, many nations have started to expel Russian diplomats. The United States made a bold statement of their own.

More from The Gateway Pundit :

“…48 [were] involved with the Russian embassy and 12 at Russia’s mission to the UN; they were all given one week the leave the US.”

A senior Trump official continued with:

“Today we say to Russia, when you attack our friends, you will face serious consequences, and that these actions will help to decrease Russia’s increasingly aggressive intelligence activities in the U.S.”

While it might be a preemptive measure against the Russians, there is no denying their aggression in the past.

President Trump has repeatedly stated that he views America first and that covers a broad range of topics. If the Russians had anything to do with the attack, he will take whatever measures necessary to protect America!
