President Donald J. Trump shocked the world last week with news that North Korea may be willing to end its inter-continental missile and nuclear programs in exchange for certain types of security. This comes as a breakthrough as the leaders of both nations have shown no love for each other in the past.
North Korea’s nuclear program had the entire world on edge worrying what they would do if they successfully completed testing. In the wake of recent inter-continental missile tests, President Trump has been on mission to shut it down by also all means available.
According to Yahoo, President Trump had this to say about North Korea:
“I think that they are sincere, but I think they’re sincere also because of the sanctions. I really believe they are sincere. I hope they’re sincere. We’re going to soon find out.”
The President referenced additional sanctions put in place to isolate the hermit nation from the rest of the world.
So far it seems that the strategy is paying off. North Korea has reached out and said it might be willing to sit down for peace talks.
While the President does not want to start a war, he has often been quoted that no solution is off the table in the handling of the North Korea regimen. If North Korea were wise they would sit down and listen to the terms President Trump recommends.
