With U.S. and Chinese negotiators seeking an end to the bitter trade war, President Trump has made a move that made some experts do a double take.
As reported by The Washington Times, Trump commented Thursday:
“I want 5G, and even 6G, technology in the United States as soon as possible,” he tweeted. “It is far more powerful, faster, and smarter than the current standard. American companies must step up their efforts, or get left behind.”
This seems to be in conflict with his previous stance on technology giants such as Huawei and ZTE Corp. Will Trump move forward with a ban on foreign tech giants, or will we continue to show our strength through good old fashioned competition and American ingenuity?
