Trump Laps Obama

President Donald J. Trump has lapped Barack Obama yet again.

Not only is our economy roaring, and Trump is fulfilling his promise to Make America Great Again, but Trump’s approval numbers are rising.

In fact, Trump’s approval numbers have surpassed Obama’s at the same point in his first term.

From the Gateway Pundit:

Despite the continued media anti-Trump hysterics over the past several months including the meltdown after President Trump said kind words to Vlad Putin — the US president’s approval rating continues to rise.

President Trump’s approval rating is currently at 50% on Rasmussen Reports.

Media darling Barack Obama had an approval rating of 45% on August 2, 2010.

President Trump is now 5 points ahead of Barack Obama at a similar point in his presidency.

And this is while 90% of network media coverage has been negative of President Trump.

If President Trump had just 50% positive coverage by the liberal media his approval numbers would be in the 60’s.

  1. If you are only going to post polls that are completed by republicans, the ratings would be more favorable.. The truth is something different, however: The Rasmussen Reports and the Pew Research Center released wildly different approval ratings for President Trump on Thursday.

Rasmussen’s daily Presidential Tracking Poll found a 55 percent approval rating for Trump among voters. But Pew Research Center only found Trump with 39 percent support — a 16 point-difference between the two polls.

Rasmussen, which has traditionally found results that are more positive for Republicans than other polls, seems to be an outlier among major polls, with Gallup also giving Trump a lower 41 percent approval rating in its most recent weekly average.

    1. The polls you mention use different methodologies. Rasmussen pols folks identified as “Likely Voters” while Per uses “Registered Voters.” According to the United States Election Project only 59.7% of registered voters actually vote. Given that, a poll of likely voters is more reliable to represent the attitudes of VOTING population (which is ultimately what counts). Another aspect of this is that since the inauguration, Pew has, on average, been the third most pessimistic pol of the more than 20 polls cited by Real Clear Politics. And, yes, Rasmussen has been thee least pessimistic. So the real answer is definitely somewhere in between

  2. I never watch what is referred to as “main stream media” because of how they bash our president. I see all the negative comments on excerpts shown on Hannity’s FOX program, and the so called news reporters totally turn me off. Their programs are not news programs, they are more like the “View” – – a bunch of Trump Hater Nuts that have no knowledge of facts or desire to look for positive things to report.

  3. Main stream media is soo far liberal, democrat, stupid, & everything else that it’s unbearable!!
If the above will “get their head out,”
Donald Trump WILL Make America Great Again!
