The Trump administration recently rolled out a new series of tariffs on Chinese imports. The new tariffs are set to the tune of $50 billion are in place to recoup what the President, and many American inventors, vie as theft of U.S. intellectual property.
From the Gateway Pundit:
“We have a tremendous intellectual property theft problem. It’s going to make us a much stronger, much richer nation,” President Trump told reporters this morning. “This has been long in the making.”
While there was much speculation that China would fire back at the Trump administration, in the end they backed down.
TGP also reported: “Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said that Beijing is now pushing for talks to correct Chinese-US trade imbalances, rather than a trade war which he believes will hurt both countries.”
Its refreshing to have a force in the White House that will stand up to countries that try to ignore and abuse international law for their own finical gain.
President Trump continues to show everyday how he is looking out for American companies and American workers.
